Skyscrappers

I always felt the name was daunting …same time inspiring

…I, absorbing the fascination of cranes collecting beams,

the steal structures of glass and metal certifying the future of sky lights overtaking the constellations and what other man-made materials that scattered the sky with mass construction enough to make cities unrecognisable of their humble foundations.

I look over Manila from the overview of an apartment that towers the Pasig river, scopes the skyscrapers and makes me wonder what distances I am between my own people…
